I acquired Gunillaberg's mansion in the summer of 2008. It is situated outside Bottnaryd, Småland, Sweden, on equal distance from Stockholm and Copenhagen. This was the beginning of a new
chapter, both for Gunillaberg and myself. Here I have found the light and the air, a place for my art
and my animals, and also a great potential for further development. It is prosaic, but beautifully
situated in the forest highlands of Småland, surrounded by pastures and ravines, carp filled ponds
and rippling streams, magic and ambiance.
In the summer of 2013
we welcome you to our new orangery. It adds a new dimension to Gunillaberg with its 400 square meters of exhibition possibilities, a place for concert experiences and a stage for when Royal Ballet, London, performs at Gunillaberg in July. Last, but not least the glass building will provide shelter for my trees and plants during the winter season and will host the Cammelia exhibition in the spring of 2014.
In our concert series this year, we will among others present world renowned Swedish-Danish cellist Andreas Brantelid, performing at Gunillaberg Sunday June 16, 5 p.m.
